Vernissage and conferences at "Les Vergers": Art and Earth to get out of the city-country divide

For a festive launch of the third chapter of the exhibition in Geneva, the association art-werk and reconnecting.earth are organizing a thematic afternoon in the eco-neighborhood of "Les Vergers" with a guided tour, participative conferences by local experts and a screening of the documentary film "Demain Genève".

We invite you to come and share this moment of generous exchange with us and to discover the vision of the sixteen invited artists! Copies of the works on display, in DIN-A3 format, are offered free to visitors at the Auberge des Vergers.

Program:

  • 15:00: Welcome
  • 15:30 : Guided tour in stroll mode
  • 16:30 : Participative conferences (in French). Interventions of :

- Ann-Kathrin Audren

- Esther Um (Co-initiator of a citizen's assembly for Meyrin)

- Pierre-Alain Tschudi (former administrative councilor of the town of Meyrin and one of the initiator of the eco-quartier).

- Werner Zapf (President of the association of the Urban Garden Les Vergers)

  • 18:00 : Screening of the documentary "Demain Genève" (2018) by the eponymous association at the cultural room of the Auberge des Vergers
  • Until 19:00 : Continuous screening of the VR film "Animalia Sum" (2019) by Bianca Kennedy and The Swan Collective at the Auberge des Vergers
